Dewey’s Comic City is always interested in buying older back issues! 

We’ll buy any comic in VG (very good) or better condition that was published 1975 and before. Any publisher, any genre. Generally these issues carry about a 35 cent or less cover price for a standard sized 32 page comic.  

We’ll buy any superhero, humor, western, horror, Archie, romance, science fiction title, TV tie-in or Classic Illustrated title.  

We pay from 60 – 80% (and more) of the listed OVERSTREET PRICE GUIDE value for comics in higher grades (from FINE to NEAR MINT) that have a higher resale demand. For lower grade comics or comics with modest or little demand we pay from 20% to 50% of guide.  

For comic published from 1976 to present we will purchase higher demand comics from 1975 through 1989. We have only limited interest comics from 1989 to present. Sorry, but we do buy comics any comics from 2000 to the present day.  

We cannot make any offer based on a list – you must we willing to either 1) bring in your comics to our store or 2) set up an appointment for us to come and view your collection (if the situation warrants) so that we can accurately grade and make you a fair offer. Generally, if you have more than 30 comics to sell, you should be prepared to leave them with us so that we properly grade them and provide you with the best offer possible. Please remember to leave your name and phone number with us with dropping off comics.  

You can leave comics with us at anytime but please call Anthony at our store at 973-593-0042 before doing so.
